I’m Back….and thinking of Gingerbread Houses…

I know…. I know….. I have been gone way too long from this blog.  I can’t explain my absence other than the fact that my brain goes on vacation when I’m not in my normal routine.  Since the last week of October I have been living out of suitcases and have either been entertaining or being entertained.  It’s hard for me to concentrate on the normal routine when I’m not at home, but I MUST learn to do that. By God’s grace, I will not have this long of a hiatus again. My desire is to write my thoughts in some kind of legible form at least two or three times a week.  It’s so great to be back in Jerusalem!

Ok…now to the gingerbread house…

Right now I’m sitting in my living room in Jerusalem listening to the latest album recorded at Bethel Church in Redding, CA.  It’s called “Here Is Love” by Bethel Live. Wow. It’s hard to concentrate on writing when such amazing worship is going on!

So much has happened over the last two months that there is no way I can give a full account.  I’ll just have to write it as I think of it.  What comes to mind this morning is when Ashlyn, Madysen, Kadyn and I made a gingerbread house. It was the last week of November, a few days before we left Grand Prairie to fly to Belgium.  I have a tradition of building a gingerbread house with the grandkids who are old enough to help.  We have lots of fun. I think more candy ends up in tummies than on the house, but we manage to make the house look pretty good!

I love my girls so much.  They are so smart and they love God so much.  Their favorite thing to do is worship and dance to Jesus.  I can’t wait to hug and kiss you again, girls!
