What Are You Most Passionate About?

A couple of days ago I attended an intercession watch at the house of prayer.  I was pouring my heart out to God, passionate in my reminders to Him of why He needed to strengthen the believers in Turkey and send them workers to help build the five houses of prayer in that country. I was in tears. I was energized. I was passionate. I was happy.  And in the midst of the music and the shouts of the people around me, I heard a quiet voice saying, “This is what I have called you to do. This is what makes you joyful in the place of prayer, and this is what moves My heart.”  I knew exactly what He meant.  What excites me the most in prayer is a group of people crying out to God together for houses of prayer to be birthed and strengthened all over the planet, specifically in Muslim countries.  I am so passionate about this. There’s no other way that the forces of evil can be pushed back in a city and a country than to have prayer and intercession rising to the throne on a continual basis through a people who are committed to each other and to Him.

Have you ever noticed that the things that you should be doing and the things that you are called to do are the hardest to stay committed to?

I mean, there are a few watches at the house of prayer during the week where I know they will be praying over the issues that I’m most passionate about, but for some reason they are the hardest watches to attend.  That makes me mad, because I know where it’s coming from, but sometimes I still allow random things to keep me away. The enemy DOES NOT want me praying over those things.  The enemy doesn’t want us praying corporately over ANYTHING.  That’s why houses of prayer are so criticized, opposed and nitpicked.  It is my opinion that if Yeshua’s bride knew the power that lies in the house of prayer and stopped criticizing it, Islam would be brought to its knees, abortion would end, and the coming of Yeshua would be hastened.

What are you most passionate about in prayer?  What do you LOVE to pray about?  We are all intercessors. Yeshua has called you and put a desire and a passion in your heart. Don’t succumb to the lie that you aren’t an intercessor.  Intercession isn’t a gift for a select group of people. You are an intercessor out of design, not gifting.  You were made to commune with God and ask Him for things!  The angels don’t get to do that. WE get to talk to Him and ask Him for things that we’re passionate about. He desires voluntary lovers who agree together on earth to see those things accomplished here that are already done in heaven. He simply wants us to ask!

We all need to step up to the plate and pour out the passion of our hearts to God. Get with a group of people with like hearts, pray, and declare God’s purposes to the spiritual realm. What an amazing time to be living in.  His glory WILL be seen in all the earth!
