Next Year in Jerusalem!

Last night twenty-five of us gathered in our dining room to remember how God miraculously delivered us out of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His son, Yeshua. We recounted the journey of the Israelites out of Egypt, and received fresh revelation of Yeshua being our sacrifice lamb. He was crucified, buried, and resurrected….all during Passover week. The Passover was pre-planned and pre-determined by God with the sacrifice of Messiah in mind. The Passover set the stage for the great act of Messiah’s death and resurrection. The plan of God through the ages was to reveal His extravagant love to His children through His Son. What love!

I took a pic of my friend, Margaret’s ten-plague droplets…. She’s a veteran dropper!

We like to take pictures of the younger ones tasting the maror (bitter herbs). Sometimes you can get some pretty bitter faces!

And no seder is complete without the young ones trying to find the afikomen which was hidden. It’s a picture of Yeshua being hidden away in the tomb. My granddaughter, Lyric, found it and received a package of fruit snacks as a prize!

After the seder we spent some time in worship and spontaneous prayer, and it was so refreshing! We are so blessed to be serving Him with this group of people. We honestly feel humbled to be here at this time in history. It’s only just begun!

NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM!!! This is a traditional declaration at the end of every Passover seder. Unbelieving Jews as well as Messianic Jews declare the same thing. Last night Gary said that since Jerusalem will be the capital of the world (the center of world government) when Yeshua returns, it can be our heart’s cry that we will all be next year in Jerusalem!
