Two Events You Must Know About

Whether you realize it or not, what happens to Israel can and will affect your every day life. Israel is God’s prophetic timepiece for the events of the End Times. It’s VERY important that we stay informed on issues that will affect her, and in turn, affect us. Two historically significant events will take place next week in New York City, and we should all be educated on what is really happening.  This is my attempt to simplify the facts:

First of all, the Palestinian Authority is seeking to pass a resolution in the United Nations General Assembly that would recognize Palestine as an independent state. They are wanting to go back to the pre-1967 borders, which actually were never legal borders to begin with. Here is a Bloomberg editorial that I think explains the issue well.  I am not saying that I totally agree with everything he says, but he makes it easier to understand.

If this resolution passes it will be disastrous for Israel. Pray that the will of God will take place and that the U.N. delegates will see through the rhetoric of the Palestinian Authority. Pray that a spirit of confusion will be evident among those who have evil intents for the Jewish people.

In April, 1920, in San Remo, Italy, Israel was granted the legal right to establish a national home for the Jewish people in the area known as “Palestine”.  It actually included both banks of the Jordan River. Secondly, the U.N. Conference on Racism is meeting next Thursday, 22 Sept. It is more commonly called “Durban 3″.  The original conference was held in Durban, South Africa, ten years ago. In short, they passed a resolution stating that Zionism is the root of racism throughout the world. Unbelievable. Catastrophic. This is a great video explaining this event. It is only 4 minutes long and is very eye-opening. Please watch this:
